The participants of the 2023 LifeCycle Challenge were received by His Excellency Dr. George Vella, President of Malta, at San Anton Palace on Sunday, 19 November.
This annual meeting, now a cherished tradition, marked the culmination of a rigorous 17-week training programme for the cyclists and their support team. The meeting served as a morale boost and as an important milestone before the team departs for Thailand on 23 November.
The team’s dedication and perseverance were praised by President Vella, who commended their commitment to raising funds and awareness for kidney disease patients.
As they prepare to embark on their journey across Thailand, the participants carry with them the encouragement and support of the nation, symbolised by this distinguished farewell.
